Chapter 354 – Aiko vs Golden Monkey

The [Little Nightmares] were munching on the monkeys\' hearts whilst fending of their attacks.

They were not specialised in defence, so they took a lot more damage than expected, but thanks to the constant supply of food they were able to regenerate most of that damage.

The [Little Nightmares] also didn\'t play with the monkeys, which allowed Aiko more breathing room once she was back at the edge of the forest.

She had no intention of going inside, since she didn\'t have the proper adaptability for it.

The monkeys would have the upper hand in that case and Aiko didn\'t want to strain her body.

The Golden Monkey\'s muscles bulged as he threw another huge rock at her as she was surrounded by his subordinates.

This was a bit of a sticky situation since there were a lot of monkeys and their cooperation was improving by the minute, not leaving Aiko much breathing room.

The monkeys now understood the danger of the Fox\'s strange tails and dared not approach.

This caused them to throw rocks at her.

Aiko was not concerned about the small rocks, but the big ones thrown by the Piss Monkey were a problem.

As the newest of the huge rocks approached her, Aiko wanted to test if she could divert it and if that didn\'t work, she would use her shadow movement to get out of there.

The first [Little Nightmare] made an impact with the falling stone, but it only cracked the stone slightly. Aiko shifted her weight to the side, tilting her body.

Using that position, she used her exceptional Agility to spin in place.

The [Little Nightmare] who couldn\'t move the huge ass rock was now slightly diverting it away from Aiko and thanks to that spin, the damaged [Little Nightmares] were replacing each other in order to minimise damage!

It was slowly working, but Aiko suddenly had a dangerous feeling, so she immediately used her shadow movement to get out of there.

The huge rock creaked like it was under some kind of stress and with a final crack it was completely obliterated.

*BOOOOM*

The whole place shook as the huge rock exploded. It indiscriminately killed everything in its surroundings.

The trees were broken like they were toothpicks. The earth was gauged like it was made out of sand and the wind screamed from the speed of the fragments left behind by the huge rock.

Aiko appeared in a somewhat safe zone, but her [Little Nightmares] still had to protect her from the smaller shards.

She was not doing all that well, for some reason there was a slight delay on her shadow movement which caused her to take a lot of damage.

10 million damage in fact, which was a lot for current Aiko, but that was only natural. Some shards from the rock were embedded in Aiko\'s body, but fortunately, none were lethal.

Thanks to Aiko\'s instincts and the fact that the [Little Nightmares] were always so close to her body, she was able to offset some of that damage by tilting her body.

The unfortunate thing was that now 5 out of 8 [Little Nightmares] were out of the fight.

Blood dripped from Aiko\'s wounds as she removed those shards, but that also didn\'t last all that long thanks to a certain small creature.

The small Spider was making a high-pitched clicking sound like it was crying. Whilst simultaneously weaving silk to bandage Aiko\'s wounds.

Aiko pulled the shards while the Spider would clean the wound of any residuals and then bandage it. The Spider\'s large eyes were making a lot of tears, which Aiko found cute.

She had a bit of leisure time since before moving she used her stealth capabilities to the maximum, so the monkeys were looking for her frantically.

As Aiko was bandaging her wounds, the sky darkened. She was startled when she saw another huge rock flying at her location even when she was concealed.

Aiko was unaware of the fact that she was inside the Golden Monkey\'s domain, which caused her location to be revealed, but fortunately, the rest of the monkeys didn\'t have anything like that.

The [Little Nightmares] plunged themselves into Aiko\'s blood. She was confused as to why they were doing that since she just wanted to move away, but something astonishing happened.

Her tails cracked before enlarging. They were no longer black tails, but black tails with vivid red scales. The [Little Nightmares] were also bigger with rows of sharp teeth like those found on the most viscious of piranha.

Aiko was quite happy that they were on her side, since she could feel that powerful pressure from them.

\'How scary.\' Aiko didn\'t think she would be able to defeat her own Tails! That\'s how scary they were. \'But it\'s still time to-\' She still didn\'t believe that she would be safe if she took that head-on, but something even more shocking happened.

[[Little Nightmare] entered [Berserker] mode. Their capabilities were further enhanced!]

The [Little Nightmares] rushed at the boulder, tearing it apart as if it was made out of tofu. They then took the largest remnant of that boulder and shot it back at the Piss Monkey, who had just thrown another rock at Aiko.

Those two boulders met in the middle, obliterating each other, which shocked both of them.

The Golden Monkey was more wary of this Fox now, since she was able to destroy the Beast Core reinforced rocks that he created. She was too dangerous to engage at this distance, but he also could get close due to her ridiculous tails.

There was a brief stalemate since the Golden Monkey didn\'t want to sacrifice more of his rocks against this Fox, but he also couldn\'t deal with her tails.

The Golden Monkey had to swallow his pride. "How about a truce."

"I\'m not the one losing." Aiko snorted at him disdainfully. Sure, she was quite injured from that unexpected explosion, but it didn\'t hinder her combat abilities at all! Moreover, the destroyed [Little Nightmares] were slowly recovering, so she would have the upper hand soon!

The Golden Monkey frowned. He didn\'t expect this little Fox to be so stubborn, but he also didn\'t wish to part with his Treasures, so they could only continue this \'meaningless\' fight.

The Golden Monkey uprooted a nearby tree and threw it at Aiko. This way he wouldn\'t have to use his carefully crafted rocks on her, but could still whittle her stamina down over time.

He also had plenty of monkeys under him, which would further reduce her already low stamina, or so he believed.@@novelbin@@

Unfortunately, Aiko was far from ordinary, not only was she built like a tank, but she was also built as a long-distance sprinter. She had both high Health Points and Stamina to deal with this fuck!

Aiko rested as her empowered [Little Nightmares] did all the dirty work for her. Her wounds were likewise slowly closing up and she was feeling better by the minute.

Those [Little Nightmares] didn\'t consume any of her Stamina or Energy in this form, so she was able to regenerate some of her resources.

The Golden Monkey was getting quite desperate, since the little Fox was not panicking or moving around. Moreover, his own monkeys dwindled under the assault of the strange tails.

It was bone-chilling to think about being destroyed by a single enemy.

Once Aiko regenerated a bit more of her resources, she moved towards the fortress.

Now that she was more familiar with what she could and could not do, she would be able to battle that Pissed On Shrivelled Sack.

There was another way to do this and that would be by ignoring the Piss Yellow Cock Nosed Fucker and just loot his palace.

Why would she battle him? Her tails were pretty much topped up with energy and she was unsure if she could use his body if it was too destroyed, so it was better to avoid meaningless battles.

Aiko used her shadow movement to get near the fortress and then used her [Wind Jump] in order to get on top of those \'walls\'.

The Golden Monkey panicked and picked another rock, throwing it at her with his full strength.

Aiko gently tilted her body, while the tails crushed the rock. She avoided everything as she appeared on top of the \'walls\'.

She passed by the Golden Monkey with her superior speed. The Golden Monkey didn\'t retaliate in any way, since he was no match for her up close. He would wait till she entered his stronghold in order to shower her with rocks!

Aiko jumped down and was surprised. These Monkeys didn\'t live up in the trees hanging, but they built tree houses!

There was a forest inside this Fortress with big sturdy trees, each tree held a few houses, some of them were directly in the crown, while others were hanging from the thick branches, suspended by vines.

As for the buildings themselves. They were made by weaving branches together, they kind of looked like weaved baskets!

Aiko found it quite funny, but this would also make finding the Treasures easier, since you could peek inside through the narrow holes.

With Aiko\'s excellent eyesight, she was able to easily look inside. Most of them were occupied by female monkeys, but since they looked harmless; Aiko ignored them.

She was not interested in low-quality goods, so she bypassed most houses, startling the Golden Monkey.

"She is trying to take our Treasures! Go kill her!" The Golden Monkey yelled and the other monkeys immediately jumped down in order to chase Aiko.

Aiko didn\'t panic, since this was not a dense forest and they would still have to get close to her to do anything significant. Ranged attacks, especially the small ones, were meaningless against Aiko as the basic defence of the [Little Nightmares] was beyond what a common monkey could hope to penetrate.

They were sturdy enough to shrug off even the Golden Monkey\'s rocks, but Aiko knew that this \'form\' wouldn\'t last long, since they were burning through the Vitality inside the blood they consumed.

Fortunately, once Aiko located the Treasures, she could just move outside with her movement Divine Ability and not mind those fuckers at all!

She scurried around, trying to find anything of value, but all that was left was a huge house inside a huge tree. This one was different from the others, since this house was built by carving into the tree, instead of just building on top of it.

Aiko narrowed her eyes and dashed towards it. There were a few monkeys in her way, but a simple swipe of her tails dealt with them.

She was now free to explore that huge ass house, until that Piss Loving Monkey made up his mind and attacked her himself!
